This is a statement piece about the NDAA I made for the (Un)Civil Liberties Show at Rainshadow Charter School, Reno, NV.

On December 31, 2011, President Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), codifying indefinite military detention without charge or trial into law for the first time in American history. The NDAA’s dangerous detention provisions would authorize the president — and all future presidents — to order the military to pick up and indefinitely imprison people captured anywhere in the world, far from any battlefield.

Hello everyone viewing anti NDAA art. An important recent petition just started against NDAA's SEC1021 in the Hedges VS Obama calling upon the higher federal courts to rule this provision UNCONSTITUTIONAL!! Please show your support, sign it and spread the word around about this important petition.

Very nice message! It is ridiculous, some of the things that the government is just allowing--heck even encouraging--to be passed.

People need to know about the things the Gov does without letting us know. Thanks :)
