It's more of a money thing for me. I was painting 5x3ft pieces and those cost $150+, just adds too much to what you have to sell them for. And I had bought most of the tools, saws and such when I was working on my house. So I had them, might as well use them.
I work mostly on watercolour paper,i find canvas fills up too much space,plus i can sell my work easier if it's on watercolour paper,plus i like the detail work i can get.I used to lots of airbrush work on canvas i did so many that i had to destroy alot because i didn't have the room,maybe i need a professional studio????
