A New Symbiosis, spray paint and acrylic on a 24x24in canvas.

To me this one has some meaning and hence the title. The pigeon represents people and city life, while the rhino represents nature and animals. We have to find a way for animals and people to coexist in this world or all wild animals will cease to exist.

In recent decades rhinos have been relentlessly hunted to the point of near extinction. Since 1970 the world rhino population has declined by 90 percent, with five species remaining in the world today, all of which are endangered. The rhino has a symbiotic relationship with oxpeckers, also called tick birds. The birds feed off parasites on the rhino and warn the rhino when danger is approaching. Hence a symbiotic relationship.

So with the pigeon, a city bird, I was trying to convey man's relationship with nature.

Superb!!!! I hope governments see sense and do more to protect these stunning animals and all the endangered wildlife before its too late as too late will be here far to soon if nothings done. Nice work bud!!
